Plastic Reality
with Pandemonia and Sydney Lima
Join Sydney Lima and Pandemonia at Ladbroke Hall, 7pm on the 15th April for a discussion about consumer culture, self-image and constructing a persona.
The talk will draw on Pandemonia’s experience living as their alter ego (a seven-foot-tall, idealised, latex doll) over the course of nearly two decades, and Sydney’s work exploring the intersection of mental health and social media.
Sydney Lima is a documentary filmmaker and writer who has written articles for The Sunday Times Style, Vogue, VICE amongst others. She developed and co-hosts the Spotify Original podcast Sex, Lies & DM Slides with Gizzi Erskine and is currently in development for a new film with Channel 4.
In 2025, she founded Rich Parents, a production company and mentorship initiative designed to support underprivileged creatives in gaining access to the creative industries.
